From 2017 to today, the story of a Swiss company with a name that stands out, convinced that IT should be a growth lever, not a cost centre.
A short but dense timeline of the milestones that built Dukiwi SA.
A strange dream, a burst of laughter and a hunch: dukiwi.com, dukiwi.ch and all their variants are registered. The name is set, the idea matures in the background.
Dukiwi SA is officially incorporated in Estavayer-le-Lac. The project moves from idea to a Swiss company, ready to serve its first clients.
A busy year: development projects, managed services, cloud infrastructure, support for SMEs and the first municipalities equipped. The machine is running.
Launch of www.sweever.com, our online cash register designed for shops and small businesses.
Production launch of tweekee.com, our next-generation CRM with AI at the core of sales tracking and customer relationships.
Beta launch of gleeder.com, our Linux and Windows fleet management platform: centralised updates, remote command execution and real-time inventory.
Go-live of dukiwi.ai, our applied AI platform. A common foundation for embedding artificial intelligence into our services and SaaS.
Launch of votemalin.ch, a new social network for election candidates to bring them closer to their voters.
Production launch of eatoon.com, our SaaS dedicated to Canadian meal management, the first step of our international portfolio.
A complete redesign of dukiwi.com to better tell who we are, what we do, and make our services and SaaS easier to access.
In 2017, I had a strange dream. My wife was handing out roles to several people. When my turn came, she told me, in the most serious way, that I would now be “in charge of the kiwi”.
In the dream, I laughed so hard I woke up. I told her the scene, and she burst out laughing too.
That same day, out of curiosity, I checked the available domain names. dukiwi.com, dukiwi.ch and all their variants were free. I bought them all, not really knowing what I would do with them.
When the time came to set up my company in 2024, the name was the obvious choice. And today, I am actually in charge of Dukiwi. :-)
Starting a business is hard. At the beginning, nobody knows you. You absolutely have to disturb: send emails, post on social media, walk into companies and introduce yourself, multiply networking events.
None of that is easy for a techie like me. But what is not easy makes us stronger. So I stepped out of my comfort zone to find my first clients. (Bills do need to be paid, after all.)
At Dukiwi SA, every client matters, the small as much as the big. We care about offering affordable solutions to young businesses so that IT does not become a cost.
With the right tools and the right tactics, you discover a ROI that goes beyond what you imagined.
Our approach is simple: we do not discuss price, we talk about value. What a well-sized IT investment brings to your business (time savings, security, growth). If, even after that discussion, our offer is still out of reach for you, we are probably not the right partner, and we would rather say so honestly than sacrifice the quality of what we deliver.
Whether you are an SME, a municipality, a shop or a start-up, let's talk about your IT project. First discussion with no commitment.
